Village Weighing Temporary Housing

The Village Board approved using one of its lots for temporary housing. The issue was brought up by Trustee Gruning, who believed that the former railway station at the corner of Wells and Maple could be used as temporary housing for those out of their home.

"Put all of the names into a hat and pick one out." he said.

The station was used as a house until early last year. The house may be able to fit up to four people. The Village will be making the house a railway museum next year and lies vacant.
