Lopez Begins Flood Mitigation Process

Assemblyman Peter Lopez organized the second in a planned series of flood mitigation meetings this morning. Starting at 9am, the meeting hosted representatives from local communities, Senator Seward's office, Congressman Gibson's office, DEC, NYDEP, the Army Corps of Engineers, Soil and Water, Planning, and others. The meeting was productive and there are plans in the work to improve stream cleanup and possible other work.
